Gorgeous atmosphere and such lovely food we were spoilt with choice ended up ordering 4 delicious starters for just 2 of us as well as the mains!

Best food I'd had for a long time. Beautiful location with excellent service and superb value for money as well. Best evening of our weekend away. Will be back ASAP.

The dinner menu offers great choices. Recommend the premium steaks. We had the ribeye, Welsh lamb, seasonal vegetables and signature sauce. Served by friendly accommodating staff.

Absolutely incredible food with the most beautiful atmosphere to match. We ate here last year and thought it was wonderful, so we re-booked this year and it was as good if not better than last. Everything is so full of flavour and every dish is so uniquely done. I would 110% recommend and we will definitely return! Thank you

Had a 3 course meal with my partner with multiple drinks and by far the nicest meal I've had in a very very long time. Exquisite dining 10/10 would highly recommend!

Excellent, friendly, welcoming service. All staff were very attentive. Delicious salmon en croute & lasagne. Children?s meals very generous portions but could do with some options to include vegetables with these. For example broccoli with the pizza and chips.

Absolutely gem. We called on the off chance and would highly recommend any to travel to this pub / restaurant. The vegetarian selection is fantastic and tasty my wife says and the burger I had I would argue is the best I?ve ever had. Many thanks.

Fantastic meal. High quality traditional pub lunch reasonably priced. Ham and eggs, Steak and gravy pie all beautifully cooked. Argument over whether the Jam Roly Poly or the Sticky Toffee pudding was better. Both delicious. Real fire and a warm welcome from the host and staff. A definite return. Hidden gem.

Been twice now to this lovely pub and would highly recommend. Evening meal for a family of four and Sunday Lunch for 20. On both occasions we received such a warm welcome and great food with generous portions at excellent value.

A great start to our holiday in Wales as we received a really warm welcome to this traditional Welsh pub/restaurant. We loved to hear the Welsh language being spoken as we are visiting the area as tourists. The food was excellent quality and the prices very reasonable in a very cosy and welcoming setting with open fire. Thank you.

Beautiful food in a lovely pub. Service was friendly and quick. One of the best steak and ale pies I have eaten. We walked in with no booking and were accommodated with no fuss.

They catered for a party of 12 at short notice and opened slightly early because of the children. Food excellent, as was the beer.

Called on the off chance that they'd have a free table for lunch - we were lucky! Excellent meal, once again, at the Butchers. As a group of 4 we ordered Cod, Scampi, sausage, egg & chips and a Hunter's chicken - all meals were delicious and well presented. The cheesecake and ice cream sundae dessert were delicious too. As usual an excellent homemade meal. We ordered gammon egg and chips and fishcake salad followed by banana split my favourite dessert.

Called in yesterday for lunch on our way home from holiday. Warm welcome and lovely warm cosy pub. Really nice home made food which we both enjoyed very much. We live too far away to frequent this lovely Inn but always eat here if passing. Would highly recommend and certainly will be back on many occasions.

Ordered from the Welsh themed menu for St David's day. Sewin and Lamb Shank followed by Homemade Peach Cheesecake. All the food was stunning. Roaring open fire added to atmosphere.

Well what can I say, had a wonderful welcome tonight at the Butchers Arms with Lynwen and Daffydd. Had a three course meal for hubby's birthday. Starters was cockles which were very tasty, Hunter?s chicken to follow with lovely BBQ sauce and sauté potatoes followed by lemon cheesecake - perfect meal. Would recommend to go here.

Went with my wife, daughter and son-in-law. Service was excellent, food great, staff and locals so friendly. Would definitely visit again when in area. To all concerned, thank you very much
